THE SHIFT
Marine products saw the largest tariff removal in the agreement. Prepared and preserved shrimp, prawns, squid and tuna carried some of the UK's highest food duties. From 15 July 2026 they enter free. For processors in Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Gujarat, the maths on value-added, retail-ready seafood into UK supermarkets has completely changed.
