The CETA deal
The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) entered into force on 15 July 2026. UK duties on 99% of Indian tariff lines fell to zero on that date.

Yes. The preferential zero rate requires proof that your goods qualify as Indian origin, evidenced by a valid CETA Certificate of Origin per shipment. Without it, standard duties can apply.

We use HMRC's official monthly importer data, matched to Companies House and enriched by our team. It shows which UK companies import your product categories. It shows who imports, not exact volumes, and runs about six weeks behind — we are transparent about those limits.
No, and be cautious of anyone who does. We guarantee accurate data, verified introductions and honest effort. We publish our meeting and conversion statistics to members each quarter.

Yes, free forever. Buyers bring demand, which is what makes the platform valuable to exporters. We never charge you and never sell your details.
Company registration and IEC checks, factory capability review, and quality and ethical certifications (such as Sedex, GOTS, BRCGS or ISO where relevant). Only verified exporters are introduced to buyers.
Post a sourcing brief and we typically return 3 to 5 matched, verified suppliers within a few working days, with capability notes and indicative pricing.
Billing & trust
Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime and changes apply from your next billing date. UK Desk has a three-month minimum because relationships take time to build.
